My little bro
I have been wanting to take some pictures of my little brother for a while now, and finally got around to it while he was on Christmas holidays. I couldn’t believe how great he was! He did as I asked, gave genuine smiles and was just perfect to photograph! I think maybe 6 years old is my new favorite age! I absolutely LOVED so many of his images, and we got them all in about 10 minutes in my parents living room!
Isn’t he just the cutest little guy?! I love him to bits 🙂
Well, I guess this marks the last post of 2009! It’s been a wonderful year and we are so thankful to the LORD for the care and guidance we have received from HIM. We have been blessed both in our personal life and business life. We’d also like to thank all of our clients, and wish you all a Happy New Year! Next year promises to be amazing!
I am looking forward to becoming an aunt again in May, when Steff is expecting her second little bundle 🙂 I can’t wait! We also have lots going on with a whole new re-branding effort with our business and have a new website to launch as well. It’s going to be busy!
So it’s goodbye to (if you are a client and have perfect eyesight, you may be able to spot one of your images in there :-P)

Just a reminder…
I know this beautiful weather we have been experiencing lately is a little deceiving, but yes, Christmas IS coming!
If you still need to order Christmas cards, please do so as soon as possible so I can have them to you in plenty of time for you to send them out in time as well.
And if you find yourself without any family pictures to use in your card, contact us and we will do our best to squeeze you in for a mini-session.
I will end this post with a picture I love, taken during the gorgeous warm weather we had last week!

J&R Family Session
Steff and I are part of a close group of four girls that bonded in the last year of high school. From different areas and different groups of friends, the four of us found each other and our different personalities all somehow clicked and balanced each other to create a friendship that has lasted years; through graduation, college, jobs, marriages and kids. Without these friends I don’t know where we’d be. Our husbands all get along so great and the kids love to play together. It actually seems as our families grow larger, we see each other more 🙂
Recently we took these two beautiful families out on a somewhat chilly day for family sessions. The results are beautiful and maybe a little more so to us as they represent people we love so much.
I’ll start with J&R and their sweet little munchkin. She is just over 1 year and such a tiny little thing! She was born the exact same weight as my daughter Eden (7 lbs, 1 oz), and is actually 6 days older, and now she’s about half of Eden’s size 🙂
This one just makes me laugh…
Next year we will be drawing another little one in the sand… yay!
I’ll be posting D&L’s Family Session this week as well…stay tuned 🙂
Sneak Peek: Princess B has arrived!
We got to meet this little sweetie today, it was so fun to see her in all her newness(only 4 days old). Thanks to her Mommy and Daddy for coming out and being so relaxed and letting us do our thing. You guys have been the best clients ever 🙂
Personal: Family Pictures
So over the Thanksgiving weekend, I decided it was time for an updated family photo…we actually have lots of pics, but none include me :(. So we packed up, drove down the road and found this great field just 5 minutes from our house. The light was amazing and the kids were co-operative, what more can you ask for?!
I set my camera up on a tripod and used a remote for the ones that I am actually in. I absolutely love the results and the best part is, we were only out for 20 minutes of pics, and then headed out for dinner. This made my hubby happy. He hates these outings. Too bad he married a photographer!
I know I already posted the second image earlier, but I LOVE it! Oh the joys that a candy apple can bring!
And this storyboard just makes me smile! ♥ it all…the toothy grin, the look of wonder, the light and sun flare…yum.
Sweet baby boy
Remember this beautiful expectant couple?
Well, they welcomed Baby C into the world on July 28 (9 days after his due date)! He is such a sweet, perfect little boy, and looks so much like his daddy! We loved getting to meet him, and we wish you both all the best as you raise this little one in faith.
Here he is:
He has the greatest little mohawk, so adorable!
And one more of the little feetsies…I just love all the little newborn flaky skin!

This year Greg and I went up to Chesley Lake again with our family…this includes my Opa and Oma, 4 of my Mom’s siblings and their families. It’s quite a gathering! We all have our own cottages but we often go boating together or shopping, maybe visit Sauble Beach and every night we enjoy t-ball, baseball and volleyball in the centre of the camp.
We have been going here for a long time, I believe close to 25 years?! The moments captured here are ones that we all hold close to our hearts, and it’s so wonderful to see the families growing up together.
I wanted to share some of the images that really spoke to me.
Ahhh, early morning…realities of having young kids on holidays. At least you can enjoy the morning sun!
Here Kyara is spending some time with her (second) fave guy in the world…Uncle Malachi (or Chi-Chi). She copies everything he does and follows him everywhere like a little puppy dog. It’s so cute!
This was taken around 9/10 pm. Summer days last forever!
And last but not least, this image from Sauble Beach. I love it!
Now not all of these were even taken by me, as my camera seemed to get passed around a bit :-S
But I love all the surprises I got when I uploaded my pictures. And now I can’t wait to go back again!
